My First Impression of St. Joseph's
I was always told that first impressions last,
My new school was a blast!
I was skeptical, but let's be practical;
The school is very spiritual.

I love the uniform
It makes me look and feel reformed.

Our School

St. Joseph’s is a Roman Catholic Institution, founded in 1897 by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany.  The College currently enrolls over 600 students and employs approximately 60 academic, administrative and ancillary staff.  We have a history of ‘Christian family-style’ existence here.   Our mission is to to educate and evangelize, while preparing students for excellent service and stewardship in the teaching profession.

Our Programmes

We offer a wide range of courses. These include the Diploma in Primary & Early childhood education, diploma School Leadership & Mangement for Primary School Adminsitration, Bachelor in Primary Education, and B.Ed. in Primary and Early Childhood Education. We also offer the Master of Primary Education, and selected courses in CXC (CSEC) and GCE O Level. [read more]

College Life
Teaching Practice
Our students spend the last 12 weeks of their last year of study in a classroom, gaining experience gaining experience with students while under the supervision of an experienced teacher.

Student Activities

A number of house competitions are held annually. These include Campus Service Day, Music Festival, Netball, Football, Drama, Sports Day, Debate competitions, among others.
